Spirit (formally known as Kindred Spirit of Peace) was born in Toronto, Canada, on September 10, 2016.  When he was eight weeks old, he was adopted by Annette and John Skiendziel and now resides with them in NJ, along with his Great Pyrenees sister, Juniper (Juno), and two feline brothers, Miso and Philippe.

Like most Golden Retrievers, he loves to swim and will spend hours chasing rocks (not sticks) in any body of water.  He also enjoys hiking in the woods on a crisp autumn day; rolling in the snow; eating peanut butter; and communing with the deer, foxes, groundhogs, squirrels, toads, and various species of birds who frequent his backyard.  He truly is a Kindred Spirit of Peace.
